On a recent visit to the Forbidden City in Beijing China, there was energy in the air with everyone excited about the Olympics. The whole city was busy with "spring cleaning", getting everything ready to be in the world's spotlight. I chose to emphasize the idea of moving toward the future while being supported by tradition. It's a fleeting moment since the bamboo supports will not be there for long.
