I purposely woke up early to see one of the last days of normal operation for
the historic Fulton Fish market before it relocated. By dawn the market was already finished
for the day. A few blocks away on my way home, I witnessed this unforgettable
sunrise along the East River. I emphasized the orange and blue colors which reminds me of
New York. Although I had lived in Tribeca, this was painted while in Hong Kong. Sometimes
being distant allows for clarity of what is important.
